LCA report regarding blood bags
Raul Carlson, eco2win, performed a Life Cycle Assessment of a PVC blood bag containing DEHP compared to a fictive PVC free bag. The LCA is commissioned by the EU Life+ project PVCfreeBloodBag.

PVCfreeBloodBag LIFE+ project!

EU project for PVC free blood bags approved

The EU environmental program Life+ has awarded a grant to the Jegrelius institute for Applied Green Chemistry, in cooperation with four European companies and Karolinska University Hospital, for a PVC-free blood bag project.
